Luke Goedeke was a tight end at UW-Stevens Point before transferring to Central Michigan, where he became an offensive tackle.

MADISON – When Luke Goedeke graduated from Valders Substantial Faculty in the spring of 2017, the all-convention restricted conclusion had zero soccer scholarship presents and a lousy shoulder.  

Undaunted, Goedeke enrolled at UW-Stevens Stage and played in nine game titles as a freshman. He finished with 12 catches for 132 yards for the Pointers and then made a decision to transfer to Central Michigan, where by he played offensive deal with.

That decision led to a dream coming real Friday night.

Goedeke was selected by Tampa Bay in the 2nd round of the 2022 NFL draft, the No. 57 select.

“He came a prolonged way,” ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr. explained through the network’s broadcast. “You’re talking about a former limited conclusion/defensive lineman in higher college. He was 6-4 and 250 then.
